Intl. Regional Sales Manger – Watch Industry

My client is a Swiss company (part of a large US Group – private company) in the watch industry, headquarterd in Zug (Switzerland) with satellite operations in London, Paris, Hong Kong and USA. Their business is the distribution of time pieces in over 100 countries through a worldwide network of distributors and retail outlets.

This position is responsible for the execution of sales & marketing activities with distributors within Middle East, Africa and Select European Countries, incl. Germany. This will involve directing and monitoring the efforts of distributors to develop brand awareness, protect brand integrity and achieve key business sales and marketing goals. There are 2 colleagues responsible for other regions and the role reports to the VP Sales in Zug, Switzerland.

Your Profile:
As an entrepreneur you know what it takes to support distributors in every way (even discussing business plans with them), you can develop effective sales strategies, you handle Excel in your sleep, you are willing to travel extensively (up to 70%), you are passionate about your job and the products, you want to add value and exceed growth plans – all this coming from at least 3-5 years international business development experience in the luxury goods, fashion or cosmetic industry.
International Travel is a critical part of this position, and the successful applicant must be able to travel to ALL countries within the designated regions including all Middle East countries + Israel.

Salary: CHF 100kpa as base plus bonus (no car, since travel is international)
